Finally handed over!

At last, the family has been and gone, and I have handed over the Maid In Japan quilt.  It was received with a big "COOOOOLLLLL", which I interpret as good.

Was lovely having the family together for a couple of days, doesn't happen all that often with one lot living in Queensland, and the other here.

Til next time,

I have been busy, really!!

Have finished off a couple of quilts, and have been quilting them.  The
Maid In Japan one has taken me ages to FMQ, but as I took it on my
quilting retreat, I got a lot done there.  Have now taken over the dining
room, as you can see, and have nearly finished it.  Bought the binding today,
so hope to get it all done by end of the week.

This is the view while I am quilting.  I keep an eye out for the baby wild
geese, and watch them.  They are nearly ready to learn how to fly, and are
so funny flapping their little wings.

My FMQ, nearly finished, have got to go right to the edge still.

I think I have posted this before, but too bad!

As I said, who needs a dining room, when you can quilt.  Looking through the
back window, you can see who was watching me.  Better pic below.

 More FMQ

They are hard to see, but these two skippys have been coming into the back area for the past couple of days, and don't seem fussed when we walk outside.  So long as we are slow and quiet, they have sat down while munching on the grass.
