My latest bargain

Latest applique project

DGD loves dinosaurs!

Pattern I am following

Bundle of fabrics I got at Op Shop

Block holder rolls

Went to visit the local op shop the other day, and found all this material for $15. I am about to do two applique quilts (pictured) and won't need to buy too much more for them. I have also incorporated a couple of my Fat 1/8ths into the two, amazing how I just had the right colours for what I wanted.

I have also made two quilt block holders, but can't decide which I like more. Have made the second one as a gift for a friend, decisions, decisions!

Cheers for now.

Quilt for my niece's new bub, Lara

My 2009 Medallion Swap - completed!

Made this for me, love scrappy quilts at the moment, good
to get rid of a lot of useless bits and pieces.

Another scrappy, but used the charm squares I won in
the Charm Square Lotto last year.

Not sure who this will be for....

This was taken a couple of weeks ago when we were covered in mist, very peaceful. Nice thing about living in the Adelaide Hills.

I have been busy but have not posted on here for a while, and have finished off a few quilt tops as you can see - some I may have posted before.. Saw this one on a FMQ site, and just love the crisp greens with the white, so I had to make it! Sewed it all together and then realised that my sashings don't align, so have to unpick the damn thing! Should have left it lying on the floor like this when I took the photo!!

Have bought some backing fabric now, so am ready to get stuck into learning how to use the quilting frame. Been a long time since I bought it, but have been busy with a couple of deadlines, then we went away to Darwin/Bali for a break.

Look forward to showing you my quilting progress, so until next time,

Cheers

Roseanne

Forgot to add this quilt, have finally finished all the applique, only have to 'quilt' it now. Sorry about the washing featuring.....
