As I always seem to say, it has been ages since I last reported on here, and have not much to show for it. Have had a couple of trips away which has taken up 'quilting' time, but the three day trip to Rawnsley Park Station (near Wilpena Pound) was just beautiful.
Then had a quick dash over to Melbourne for Robin's uncle who passed away. We were lucky to have seen him a few weeks before, which was nice. I had made Valerie (his wife) a quilt for her 80th birthday, and got to take a photo of that while there. It is a dissappearing nine patch block, and was quick and easy, great to make.
I am also in the process of making a quilt for an upcoming quilt show my craft group are having in August. It will be called Gum Leaves, and as the picture shows, is lots of blocks with the leaves cut out to reveal what is underneath. Taking a while as they are fiddly little things! The pictures show piles of tops and bottoms, and then the finished blocks. I now have to sew them all together........
