This is the latest quilt I am working on, getting it ready to take on the road to Tassie at Easter. It is called Celebrate the Harvest by Susan Murphy in APQ Vol 17 - No 5, and I just love it.

So far I have only appliqed the four central blocks, and the four smaller corner ones, but the central long rows are a bit too long to take in the car, so will do them when we get back. Besides, it gives the the opportunity to buy more material while 'overseas'!! The white patches are the block names until I get to know them better!

After the unfortunate loss of our pet sheep JellyBean last week, I thought I would add a couple of pics to remember him by. When we first moved it to our home in the Adelaide Hills 4 years ago, the 4 sheep came with the property. Jellybean, Snowball, Toffee, and Lambchop.

Never having had anything to do with sheep before, we were delighted to learn they are quite fun. Tigger the cat was really intrigued by them, and they in turn were with him. They would often all sit down together. When we planted a lot of autumn trees in their paddock, they were most helpful, especially pruning the leaves!!

Hope you like the pictures, it is nice to be able to share them.
